Women lead Centers of Economic Development
Established in Women Universities / Colleges, WiB Start-up Centers will nurture ideas of aspiring women entrepreneurs, Alumni and provide them a launchpad to venture into active market space. Space for the start-up center and campus companies shall be allocated by the respective college/ University.
Goals for AWiB Startup Centers:

Establish an early stage entrepreneurship/ business training center in the leading Women Colleges / Universities, preferably on a revenue sharing mode.

The Startup Center can be a joint venture and branded as “University / College Name”- AWiB Start-up Center.

Engage local established woman entrepreneur as the program manager and women students as members to conduct outreach among students and Alumni.

Recruit women in identified business clusters to undergo phase 1 training through bootcamps on idea generation, innovation, business models, strategy, financial and digital inclusion.

Identify potential women from phase 1 to undergo phase 2 training in the training center on marketing skills and branding to build ethical value chains.

Engage high-potential women to undergo an impactful training program and mentoring with seasoned entrepreneurs and industry experts, designed to help them develop scalable strategies and to ready them to pursue funding, partnerships, and customers.

Organize Pitch Events to help Women Entrepreneurs raise Pre-Seed/ Seed Funding.

Measure and report program outcomes.
